On-Site Construction Management

Our approach to on-site Construction Management begins with our desire to have our entire core team on-site, including our Project Leader, Cost/Schedule Director, Project Managers, and their support staff as soon as possible. We believe this is essential to perform the following.

  1.    Expedite day-to-day decisions - Fast paced projects require quick Owner responses to critical decisions. We position ourselves to set the pace for the entire team, therefore we must physically be in a location that allows us to be very responsive.

  1.     Quality Control - We understand that quality and schedule compliance does not “just happen”. It requires a diligent effort to ensure all parties are performing high quality work as required by their defined scope of work. Obtaining a high quality outcome requires immediate detection and remediation when deficiencies occur.

  1.     Proactive Schedule Management - Examples of proactive on-site schedule management include the following:

  1. 1.     Calling ahead before submittals are due to make sure they will be delivered on time, in lieu of calling after a deadline is missed.

  1. 2.    Establishing “10 day, 30 day, and 60 day look ahead schedules” that outline what is due and when it is due.

  1. 3.    Clearly defining for each team member the expectation of specifically what is due.
