Schedule

Successful face paced projects require well thought out Master schedules developed by professionals with a depth of project experience on similar face paced and similar sized projects. Overly aggressive schedules will add cost. Inefficient schedules will also add cost. We believe some of the keys to good schedule management includes the following:

  1.     Understanding the schedule impact of selected building materials.

  1.     Understanding proposed staffing levels.

  1.     Proactively identifying potential stumbling blocks and establishing contingency plans.

  1.     Facilitating efficient owner decision-making by actions such as:

  1. 1.     Clearly defining “what” decisions need to be made and “when” they need to be made well in advance of required decision date.

  1. 2.    Managing the Team that is developing the information related to a decision, to prepare materials that are concise and complete.

  1. 3.    Arming the decision-makers with the facts that are needed to make well informed decisions including comparisons of alternatives.

  1. 4.     Assisting with consensus building when necessary.

  1. 5.    Managing the details. Delayed move-ins are not caused by one single event. They occur because details are not properly communicated and managed.
